Hey Paul, great image, I like a lot. The robot design and textures are great and the contrast between the mechanic robot and the organic eye is a great touch!. Congratulations for this great artwork and best of luck with your entry! Cheers mate!!

Thanks. I'm glad you liked it. I don't think I'll win anything because I rushed it so much, but it was fun to do.

cool.

nice finished art. there are so many illustration entries to see, i must have missed this one. i like looking at the work in progress shots. lost of nice detail. that arm is really cool.
the final rendering has some great "gritiness" to it. makes you wonder just how this robot managed to get that eyeball.

Thanks. I'm glad people like this. A lot of the detail in the final version is from painting in Photoshop. Very little of the blood and eye detail was in the final render. I find it easier to add things like that by hand.
