Talking

Hi Alexandra,
I am sure you are going to do just great! Just try to remember, always your style, and be true to your self. About cartoon texturing can be in a way photorealistic or if not the lighting...like Pixar’s mini short "the birds" ...
Try to use as reference the dog's eyebrow...and do the body types in a way you can relate a person's specific body type so it’s easier to relate to the character's behavior.

Hey the chicken is looking good, it's got a nice style to it, it brings out the dorkiness of a chicken. haha it's good! I think what u've got is good, just do what you think will get the most impact, if it's too realistic, it's not gonna work, neither if it's too cartoony. I think if you keep going on ur inutition, you do just fine! =)

Thanks for support, Axel and King!
Your encouragement and advice are very much appreciated!

Yeh, it will be a bit of the challenge to hit the right mixture of cartunism and realism... But with support like this I am going to be just fine !

I want to share a very good software experience with you, guys. It's not often you take a peace of software and enjoy it from the first moment of use.
My friend recommended me one little program called UVLayout. It's incredibly easy and intuitive to use, very easy to learn, stable and gives you quick and very good results.
This was my first use of it, and here you see the results.

I recommend it - it's great! Ones you try it you wouldn't want to make your UV's any other way!

You can find trail version, along with some feature videos, here:

O.k, the generic chicken is rigged and skinned, and here is the first try to pose her (before ZBrush work and without feathers).
