She? I've mde the head a bit bigger on the last post. I don't want to go too far or he'll end up looking dwarf like.

Line Art or Model: Detailing

My dad never goes far without a watch on so I decided he wouldn't remove his even for ballet practice :-) It gives me the opputunity to add some nice detail plus it adds to the overall strangenes of whats going on.

From this image you can see the level of detail I intend to achieve on this character.

Note the difference in texel density between the forearm and the back of the hand (the watch hides the seam for now). This is a bit of a cock-up on my behalf but I think I'll get away with it as the final image probably won't be quite this high res.

I'm well pleased with how the back of the hand is looking though.

The last thing to do to complete this part of the character is add some fine hairs to the forearm and back of the hand. I'm delaying this as my computer can't really handle it. It's a bit of a relic but I've just bought a new one and it arrives next week.

Can't wait :-)

Awesome work: perfect modeling, texturing and rendering!

The concept is also a nice one!
Your illustration is going to be a really great one,
are you sure you don't want to participate in the shortfilm section? ;-)
Would be fun to see him dancing...

Actually I am thinking about that, it would be great fun to animate him. From what I gather I need to enter anyway for the texturing and modelling categories. That right?

SONIC-X, thanks man.

CUBISIS,

That's the plan. :-) Cheers.
