thanks guys... I've been thinking a lot [as I tend to LOL, probably too much] and I decided to go about it in a more traditional way [meaning default pose/rig/posing]... I don't like it too much but it will give me more freedom [well I hate rigging ]

I'm at the box stage [haven't done much today I fear - too lazy for words] so nothing to show except for some pose experiments with the rig... tell me which one you think best for him - or if you have any others in mind shoot. THNX for all the comments

Looking forward the next steps!

he does look a bit natural in the pose you submitted... after pondering for a little while, I think it's his knees... if the handlebars were a bit shorter in width then his knees would have more room to be awkward and upward...

I love the idea with this one. The second pose in the blocking image is my favorite, i think it would be just a little bit bettter too if he was hunched right over that handle bar. Exaggerating the speed and the size a little more.
With your talents this will be one heck of a nice piece me thinks.

looks great!

the pose you choose should be the pose that portraits the story you want to tell the most.

to me, the concept pose feels kinda like an old man wanting to live through his childhood one more time before he dies. you feel he is trying even though he barely can't fit that bike.

the other poses makes it feels like an old crazy professional on child-bike riding. like if he never stopped as a kid. might be more funny, but not as emotional.
