Main Charcters

So i'm continuing to model the characters, the models are still rough, they still need a lot of work, but here is what i've done so far..

So, tell me your opinions about John before i go any deeper...

the dragon looks good. can't say anything about z-brush cuz i don't go there (yet...)
the fat guy also looks good. the jowels give him a lot of character.

you will get more C and C if you use the uploader to post your WIP.
to do that...

so go to the challenge page where you went to enter.
click where it says submit entry.

or click here

scroll down to the bottom, sign in and upload your images.
i believe jpg is the recommended format, they must be less than 150 Kb.

good luck.

Hey Sherif,

Liking the look of your John, almost got a bit of a Shriek look there, is your character going to be set in any particular time period?

Waiting to see more!

Good luck!

Henrik: you are doing very good too, great storyborads, great progress till now..

Rough Storyboards or 3D pre-visualization: Amy

This is a very rough idea about the Amy character, i made her tall and thin so she is the opposite of john, which makes contrast between the two characters.

cool characters ** - I like the orc shrek guy. but the style is different on amy. you should make them both orc's and maybe give amy some under arm hair. and a beard.

Interesting constrast of shapes!

really cool models ............ liked all of them

i like the contrast of the super thin and the hefty size in the characters.

one thing about amy.
it looks like to lengthen her legs you popped the boots on so the tops are just at her ankles are. i think it might improve what you are going for if you raise the boot up just a little, maybe just the top, not the sole, or scale up her whole leg on the y axis (maya's y axis that is) so that the leg is longer and the ankle is hidden. i think it would help you achieve what you are going for. just my opinion though.

good luck.
