Skin Texture looks blured

Hey guys,
I started to use Mudbox and Maya some weeks ago and I just have one problem: I have a 3D head which is unwrapped in Maya, and I exported it into Mudbox to paint it, I painted a 2K texture but the texture still looks not very detailed. The reference images I used were about 1600 x 1600 and also 3700 x 2600 but the same result. What could be the problem? Is it a Mudbox-related problem or just like a filter in Maya, but I already was setting the filter in maya for the texture to off. I really have no clue

for a closeup a 2k map is much to low... try a 4k or multiple 2k uv tiles...

Oh ok I will try this, and when its still blurry then? Could it be something else, cuz I tried it once with a 4K map but I guess I had a photo which wasnt that big sized for projecting

Edit: Ok I got it, I just tried another UV placing and tried to set it up a little bit better and I used the 4K texture, now it looks a lot better thanks!
