Question Transparent object blurs out what's underneath

Hey guys,
for some reason, when I try to create a transparent object with a low opacity material, the object underneath it seems blurred out as if the texture res of the inside object is very low. once I hide the transparent object it returns to normal.
Unfortunately it also looks like that when saving an image.
I tried playing around with the material and with the preferences of Mudbox but couldn’t find a solution.
Anyone knows how to fix that?
Thanks a lot !

Anyone?
I've attached a picture showing the exact problem.
On the left there is a regular painted object and on the right a duplicate of that object and another transparent object over it (Cornea).
For some reason the paint beneath that cornea blurs out

It's probably the gigatexture engine. Because the object is considered obscured so the texture is only loaded low res.

Try disabling the gigatexture option in the preferences and see if it keeps it high res.

Thanks for the reply !
I tried taking the gigatexel engine off and it kinda looks better but as soon as I enter the render window the quality of the texture decreases
