Mudbox technical issue.
Hi everyone this is my first post.
So this is my second project I have been working on in Mudbox.
I have been working on this project for around 3 days now with no issue.
Irrelevant but this is an assessment for uni.
Well the issue is that, as of last night while I just simply sculpting the mesh, it is as if a random ninja came and chopped the mesh into pieces. Pieces go missing sometimes all that remains is the hands or legs, or even half a torso.
I really don't understand it, when I go up or down a subdivision it might half come back or even get more chopped up.
I have tried re-installing, simply rotating around, even done some research to see if it was a graphical error but it cannot be because it has been working fine for the last 3 days. I have also tried reloading older versions of the file to see if it was randomly corrupted but still same issue. I tried scaling the model up and down in size. If I take a render out all that renders is the pieces. There are no holes in the mesh I made sure of this, as I said been working on it fine for a few days. It isn't event that poly only around 1.2mil.
Right now I cannot get through 5 minutes of solid sculpting without having to re-open Mudbox all the time.
I have attached some images that show how the tearing/chopping looks.

how big is your mesh compared to the mudbox man..?
maybe the clipping plane is chopping your mesh...
you could also try to export your highres mesh as obj...
import it back to a new clean scene and do an rebuild dubdiv levels...
and delete your mudox settings folder in myDocuments to reset mudbox...
