For a 3DMax user , is it easier to use Mudbox over Zbrush ?
greetings every one ...
i am an old user of 3Dmax ... i don't really need sculpturing in my work ...
but i was wondering , if i ever needed to do some sculpturing ...
would Mudbox be easier for me to use over Zbrush , since both ( Max and Mudbox ) are from Autodesk ? ...
or it does not really matter ...
most of my work is hard surface modeling ... so again .. is any of them better in that field or there is not a big difference ?

for hard surface from scratch i would use zbrush...
if you do all your modeling work in max and only like to detail something it doesnt matter...
mudbox is easier to pick up if you are familar with an 3d ap...
zbrush has an alien UI but if you get used to it its really powerful...
take also a look at this thread here...
