Concept Sketch or 3D pre-visualization: inspiration

OK,let's take off
first time here, first challenge, first whatever ...
86 days left, phew, hope I'll make it in time.
first post are some rough sketches I did while reading the book, I'm somewhere at 3/4 th now, but I couldn't wait to start.
I guess I'll do the scene where Patricia is about to leave with the frant and olmy in their spaceship, but at the moment where she can't take it anymore, she kinda collapses at the subway entrance, well, we'll see

OK, will keep you guys and girls up to date on my progress and I whish everybody good luck with this NICE challenge

Concept Sketch or 3D pre-visualization: thistledown city inspirational

hmm, searching and messing around with some shapes for the third chamber, maybe a bit too organic now

Old 10 October 2006   #11
thanks destruct007,macAndre and mmoir

nothingness , I don't know the starwars game, but it's a shame that my frant looks like another character, I'll have to search a bit further to give him an unique look then.

Concept Sketch or 3D pre-visualization: another olmy and frant design

some new character designs

*nothingness : hope this frant design doesn't remind you of another star wars character, hehe

the thing in his neck is supposed to be the part where his brains are situated, but I'm not really convinced about it

c+c welcome

hey krrrk,

doen't look like another character from the stawars games
this one looks better then the the first one so it's looking great!

just make sure he stands in balance cause he'll tip over if he needs his hands for something else. Unless he walks like an ape?

what app are you using by the way? Painter?

cheers
