Line Art / Model: Return

Thank you for all your opinions. I am very gratful for all of them :].

Here comes the next update...

I came into the conclusion that the picture hasnít got enough emotion. To better tell the story I decided to add another person :]. This gave us a real interaction between our two character.

At this point I want to thank www.ref-base.com for the image of a dog. It hasnít been in the photo library, however ref-base.com provided me with a photo of the dog that I had been looking for. I used Wish List option on their website. Thanks guys!!!

It's looking really nice, but I personally liked your earlier ship a lot more. I'm sorry you weren't happy with it, I thought it was really cool. The design was more interesting, and I loved the big arched shape that it brought to the piece, echoing the wonderful curve of the horizon.

Looks fantastic!. really great ambience..Especially perspective.. If you were to curve the horizon on a tilt, to emphasise a cylindrical landscape, it would be more eon than you would think . and it wouldn't be much work either!

Though seeing that you can use photos, has given me an idea (reads rules)!!!.

cheers

Marley

i really liked this one :-\

i hope you fix how dirty and blurry it is.

i think its quite difficult to work with photos and even more so to match the crispness of them. i would like to see you seperate the soldier from the background, there is not enough contrast and the rock he is standing on kind of looks like it is part of the midground where the ship is. i guess it just needs more work. amazing work thus far mate. keep rocking.

btw. i just noticed. on the left hand side allong the horizon right over where the tip of the ship is there are 2 identical buildings, just looks awkward i would get rid of that.

Hello Walrus,
personally, I like the first version very much. Previous version had a little different mood which I like it. But after secend thoughts the second version is
better. I hope that after some time you will have the same feeling.

LightSovereign- thanks for your opinion. I will try to do something about this . A like very much your style.
Great shape and design. Keep going! :]

Slav - special thanks for spotting 2 buildings in the background. You are right these two don't match. I corrected it.
Thank you very much . Slav you have great talent forcolor and you have great imagination - I like it :]

no worries mate. i try to help where i can. i hope i didnt come off too strong. btw i really like the ship in the latest work. kinda reminds me of "event Horizon" wicked movie

and as for the color in your piece... personally i would go grey scale and fix the contrast issue then work on re colorzing it.

Final Image: Return

Time to add a final picture. I hope you will like it.
The first version had only a soldier, city and a big building. However, thanks to your suggestions I changed a few pieces. Thanks you all.
Other thanks to www.ref-base.com. They helped me to find interisting photos and I am greatful for "wish list" - thanks guys.

The story - The image tells a story of a mutual frendship between two different creatures and struggle to survive in EON world.

My image consists of 6 photos. The big ship has been painted. Final image has 6342x2028 resolution.

Best Regards
Andrzej
