Concept Art: Background Plate

I started messing about with scans from ImageAfter. Just looking for shapes and ideas, so it's fairly loose at this point.

Heeey thanks for the feedback!

I think it's a good indicator, if an image sucks or not, depending on the amount of feedback you get. The first image was obviously a stinker, the second is getting better, maybe still not there yet.

It's still a bit abstract, but it works for me as a concept. The close-up detail from the underbelly of the cruddy looking ship floating in space, contrasted against the clean background which appears to be emerging like a sunrise, on the hull. The rock is just a faint spec like a backward above the title (not very obvious, I know).

I'm workin on it though

Concept Art: Concept Title Treatment

Here's my title treatment. Kind of a retro sci-fi feel.

Another attempt, still fairly abstract.

Concept Art: Concept

Yet another concept, just looking for abstract shapes in the colour. This has slightly more of a focal point with the two blurry figures.
