Mental ray curved Normal Reflection problem
i'm jerome and i'm having some trouble with my normal mapping really need help!
i post this render you can see some dark faces that i don't want!
im using maya and mental ray
it looks like my reflection is on a low res mesh but specular is ok and diffuse is ok.
My scene is simple : its a normal map applied on a curved poly made with a plane and a bender deformation. I have a directionnal light on the right with specular activated.
I also activated the HDRI dome of mental ray. The shader is a blinn with normal tangent where i put my normal file.
I have no trouble with my normal texture, i mean there is no faces on my normal map itself.
I try also to have my reflections with env map texture into the reflection slot instead of the HDRI dome of mental ray but i'm having the same problem...i see low res faces only on reflection not on diffuse not on specular... and same problem with mia material... really don't know what to do! haaaarg !
