Vray Exterior City Scene - Lighting and Rendering help
Hi
I am working on lighting and rendering a Spiderman scene for school. In it, Spiderman will be climbing on the side of a building. Software I am using is Maya 2013. I have the scene already setup but am having some lighting/rendering problems. I tried using Sun and Sky but the image appears weird looking. The render is too yellow, when I increase the sun's intensity, it becomes overblown and unrealistic looking. I am not trying to go for a totally realistic look but something that is believable. I may end up doing an animation with the same lighting setup as well if I have time so the lighting should be animation compatible. I have not built a city, just a very basic city block. The city environment will be textured on a simple plane. The only real detail, if you want to call it that, will be the building spidey is climbing on. How should I go about properly lighting this scene using Vray? Are there any DVD's I can buy for Vray Lighting and Rendering training? Thanks. |
