How to get realistic reflections on buildings
So I am working on this scene of a fly-thru in a city.
When I look at real life references, I can see irregularities in the windows of buildings gives a very interesting reflection of the environment. However, in CG most buildings are modeled perfectly, where all the window panels are perfectly flat which gives you a perfect reflection as well. So my question is how do I achieve this imperfection of the reflection? So I add a bump to the model? or It will be crazy for me to tweak the model randomly in this massive scene. Thanks for the help guys! My reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...3Wy1uyLg#t=102s |

This.Apply a very large noise to your bump and adjust the uv coordinates for each window a bit so it's not just one big map for all wndows but a bit of variation. |
