Vray - Tansparent AND Reflective ?

Hi guys,

Newbie Alert !
I just wanted to render a cornea with vray using the basic vray material hoping I could get reflection and transparency at the same time but it doesn't seem to work...

Am I doing anything wrong ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

You need refraction. Leave opacity alone. Set refraction IOR to 1 if you want no distortion.

Hey Panupat,

Thanks for you reply,
I tried adding the refraction you mentioned and played with almost all the attributes in combination with the others but I can't for the life of me get the specular on a transparent eye with the Vray material... I can get one or the other but not both at the same time... even though with a normal blinn I get it instantly.

Any ideas ?
