Cool HMC #41: Heroes Of Saturday Morning - Tweetytunes - G.I Joe Thunder Machine

Going for one of my fav toys as a kid.

The Thunder Machine is a four wheeled, armored, weaponized vehicle used by the Dreadnoks, a biker gang/mercenary group in the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic books and cartoon series. The Dreadnoks work for Cobra, the primary enemy for G.I. Joe.

Going to build the toy and maybe the action figure if time allows. (Maya)

Hehehe, makes me smile. Zartan was one of the few Joe's I bought with my own money.

I had all of the Dreadnoks as I feel in love with the characters thanks to the "Action Force" comics here in the UK as the TV was never on. (They renamed GI Joe - Action force in the uk for some silly reason).

Made a start with the help of a quick google search for the blue prints

Nice start.
The "window" on the door on your model looks true to the blueprints, but it looks bigger on the model then on the picture of the toy.

Man tweety, you have alot of projects going on at one time. How to you find the time? I thought you were working on the Jessica project?

I haven't touched my maya in about 3 years I think. Don't know if my Maya 6.5 will work with Windows 8. Been to lazy to find out.

Anyway great work. G.I. Joe was a childhood favorite. Best of Luck!

Small update: -

Having no work is the biggest factor for the amount of projects....

My Jessica project was a training course surplied by the goverment while I was unemployed and then I went and got a job and they pulled me from the course. Working on it slowly but its at the rigging stage for which I hate.

Going to have to redo the side doors hence they are no longer in the screen shots and just starting the front rail.
