How to post references

Hello,
I'm new to forums all together. I've been trying to figure out how to post my references.I was able to post video but not the pictures I plan to use. I started an account on photobucket as it said in the support forum but nothing seems to work. Please help me out. Thanks

I use photobucket all the time.
Just get the image link from the site, and use the image button from the forum.

You can see on the center of the text editing feature of this forum.

I have a question I asked in my thread, but it probably belongs here.

So no existing models or meshes can be used, but if I make a basic mesh for Jane Jetson, and Judy Jetson's body type is basically the same, can I use Jane's base that I make specifically for this challenge on Judy? Whom will also be specifically for this challenge.

Personaly, I will say no.

Just because you use a base mesh of the same type (Jetson style).

Basemesh are allow usually but not like you explain. The idea behind the challenge is to challenge yourself form the ground to the finish product in a limited period of time.

But it's just me.

Of course its okay. Check this sentence from the challenge page: "The idea of this "mini-challenge" is to simulate an impossible deadline for a project." You are working against the clock so I'd use every tool in my arsenal to get it finished.

Besides, it sounds like you are creating the base mesh for this challenge so no way that would be a problem. The trick for you is going to be pushing the Jetson's into hardcore modeling territory.

That's what my thoughts were as well. We'll see if I even get to Judy's character before I worry too much about it... To bring it into Hardcore mode I have this image in my mind of what the final render will look like, and of course it's gorgeous... but when I start 3D projects a big problem for me is not being patient. Starting with 20 polygons and trying to end up at the final product too soon without taking it step by step and building up the detail.

Also I want to make a really good looking version of their family space car... so I have big ambitions, I just hope I can get it done the way I see it in my head. I have a journey to the other side of the globe coming up soon, so I might be able to crunch during the flights and jet lagged nights.

Everything you are saying is me all over. I'm the worst for jumping into the deep end.
Good luck, one step at a time.

Does the cartoon need to be a kids show or could I do something from the likes of Futurama?

thread title change

To Roberto and to the moderators,

Hi, I started a thread before deciding on the theme.
I have chose Ren & Stimpy as my subject on this mini challenge.

Could you make change to the title of my thread when you have a moment?

Thanks a bunch!

Best regards,

I have an issue: My Diorama consists of three models.
Do I need to do individual orthographic renders of each of those models and then do orthographic renders of the diorama? Cuz this seems like I'd be posting quite a bit of images.
Can I put the ortho renders of the models in one image per model (eg. model ,1 top, side, back etc in one image), and the final diorama orthos as individual ones?

This is my first challenge so I am a little foggy on the details.

Cheers
