Considering the timing, Doctor Who would be fitting.

Great! When can we get started?

Doctor Who gets my vote. What's the difference between a mini challenge and a regular one?

Mini challenge has no prizes.

Should provide a lot of references though. Not everybody who'll want to compete has seen Dr. Who.

Agreed, I haven't seen Dr. Who, could never get through a whole episode. I'd have to see some cool reference to be convinced to do this challenge.

Same here, never was able to get through a single episode.
Must be some type of sentimental favorite like Captain Kangaroo with Mr GreenJeans and grandfather clock.

Try the Peter Davidson story The Caves of Androzani as its probably the best one in the entire series. Its horribly dated in a cheesy 80s-British way but it works very well, and the ending is ****ing cool!

Talking

Yeah, I'm a recent convert to the show. The beginning of the first season was a little hard to watch at first.(of the 2005 re-launch.) I got hooked when I saw the daleks for the first time in that season. I would highly recommend the season 3 (2007) episode "Blink". The weeping angels are one of the coolest villians of the show. With that said, Dr. Who is definitely not for everyone, and I can understand some of the reservations people have...

Dr. Who good choice

Dr. Who sounds great. There is plentyof material spading decades. Including the Torchwood offshoot.
