Wow, that is the fastest I've ever finished anything to this level. 3.5 hours from looking up reference pictures to this point. Nothing like a deadline to make you hustle.

Blarg, I'm in the process of painting but I keep losing power.

I heard a transformer explode so guess there's nothing I can do about it. Good thing is ZBrush's autosave feature and crash recovery are working. Unfortunately, I've had to go over the same things over and over again. One thing is for sure, I will definitely have texturing in ZBrush down after this.

One more day!

That is a real pain in the bum, Wyatt. This is one of the reasons I prefer a laptop over a desktop - when the power goes off you can carry on working and have plenty of time to save your work.

I remember reading in a book somewhere that you can get a back up generator for such emergencies. Don't know how much they cost but you might want to give it a butchers.

"Give it a butchers", I have to look that one up.
Actually I have a UPS for such emergencies but the battery needs to be replaced. Funny that it hasn't really effected me until I really needed it. Anyway, I'll be headed to the store today to get a new one.

I wanted to get something up before the deadline even though it's not a complete entry. Hope you guys understand. I'm getting really close.

The rigging was quite a bit more involved than I thought it would be so that's what I did most of the day. That and getting all of the assets over to Lightwave. I have a ton of painting left to do and her bow and arrow. And some kind of environment I hope.

Man it's getting late. Everything's getting blurry.

Wyatt, even though this HMC has come to a close, I urge you to keep working on this as she looks very promising. This last minute effort is most welcome!

Even on a casual basis, this is worth chipping away at and seeing through to the end.

Finally finished painting. The colors are very close to the film puppet but even so I thought they were too bright. At least until you drop the lights down and then they look just right.

7 happy snakes. I will probably make a few more and then repeat a few.

Howdy folks, haven't updated in a while.
First thing, the modeling has been done for a while. I've been using this time to fully implement all of the rigging and animation that usually gets cut because I run out of time. That and as I progress I keep having more ideas which leads to more things to complete which is extending the project. Normally I would cut those ideas due to time restraints but since we have the time I'm trying to implement everything.

I am really learning a lot... and Genoma is fantastic!

Looking better and better with all your efforts!

I came across this closeup.

Yikes!

"All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up."

Ray sure had a way with making ugly work for his characters...

Hello everyone,
Just about done. Everything is rigged and ready to go. This will probably be my last update before the final.
