HCR MINI-Challenge #37: Femme Fatale!- Tweety - "Ada Wong" Resident Evil

I`m going for poor old Leon`s thorn in the side Ada Wong, from the Resident Evil games/films.

After looking at the different versions of her I am going for the look from the last CG film "Damnation"

I am so sick of the look of her in Resident Evil 4 - Come on who would ever go killing zombies in that dress. But I do want to do the gun hook.

Great! The Resident Evil 6 one is looking pretty Fatal to me, as I am not really digging the dresses. But the gun is sweet.

Just a small update - got the head blocked out - Just starting the ear. Back of the head is not perfect but then it will be covered in hair.

Thanks guys

Anyway cracked on with the ear. Need a bit of detail in this area as the one is not covered by the hair but not sure how much yet. Also built the inner mouth.

hey dude, i noticed a few things while looking at your images:

  • The teeth look too wide/big for her mouth
It looks like the teeth of the person you are modeling had an underbite and or impacted molars
ear lobe looks too big compared with the rest of it

head is looking good though

Thx gyarados - Been tweaking it for quite a bit - and looking back on it that lob was way too big.

And here is it on the head with the Blouse - the collar is quite high as the collar for the jacket goes under it.

Is it me or is the ear now too small ??

Going to look back at the teeth next. But the ref image was for the gums not the teeth themselfs as most of the ref images I found for women teeth were behind lips.

Hey again, yeah. I think the ear looks a tad bit on the small side. Usually the top jaw is infront of the bottom jaw so it should occlude a portion of the bottom teeth. Also, i find that when the mouth is in an open rest position as in your picture only the top set shows(the bottom set of teeth is usually almost covered by the bottom lip.

Again Thx gyarados

Ok some tweaks to the ear and mouth/teeth.

The old and new size ear

And a re-jig of the teeth. Again - I`m not sure how much of the inner mouth you`ll be able to see but if your going to do a job and all that jazz.....

I also added some colour - just to make things easier to see - not final in anyway

Basic part of the jacket is done - Got some body defamation in there for now but will do more once I have the final pose sorted. The jacket is body hugging in place and not so in others. Also started work on the zip but again will place that once the final pose is done.

OK got the skirt done. I used the zip I did for the jacket on the rear of this as I don`t think the final pose would be too far from this any way and I think they would be of same design as its a matching suit.

Here is what I got so far in total then (missing the neck piece and teeth -opps). Just refreshing myself with some training videos on hair and think might have a go at that next as I hate hands and feet.

Here is some ref to what I`m going for

Ada Wong Escape's Skill - YouTube

And a great fight scene

Resident Evil Damnation - Cat Fight - YouTube

Hair part 1 - Modelled in polys, then covered to Nurbs, Lastly created the hair curves. Made them in polys as I can`t use Nurbs for love or money. On the plus side of doing it that way - if it all goes wrong I can always just texture the hair on to the polys hehehe
I am thinking I nailed the shapes in her hair - just hope I can do it justice with hair systems now...
