HCM #36 - Schmidt Hydra Coupe (red skulls car)

Hey everyone, starting a little late because I was hit really hard by hurricane sandy. Still no power except at work :(
Anyway it might be little obscure, but I'm going to be doing the "schmidt hydra coupe" which is the car the red skull drives in captain america. I was going between this and captain nemo's car from league of extraordinary gentleman but the hydra coupe won out.

really dug into the engine today. Dont know if I'm really going to use it but wanted to render a shot with the hood door open.

Looks awesome mlager8, you've got my vote to render it with the hood open

Engine and interior are pretty much in the bag. The shell is coming along too but I'll have to make an update for that later in the week or next week.
All the engine work is making me think I want to model the entire underbody. Probably no one will see it, but I want all the major components there. Is that crazy?

Allright big update. Pretty much all done with the body shell except for some very small details. Working on the engine compartment and major underbody components for the next update.

Thanks scote, I think you still have a lot of time, I'm just ahead of schedule.

Anyone seeing any problems or things that need work? I'd like to have my model in the bag before rendering, realizing theres problems, then going back to modeling... again *facepalm*
