There is a references thread, right below this one.

I know... I just wanted to point that the references threat serve the same purpose..

People don't need to pose there if everybody post here...

Hi all,

For the first time i'm thinking of competing, I can't possibly match some of the work I see here but since i'm a huge film-fan and a proper petrolhead I just need to join.

I have got a question to begin with, what is meant by "But at the end of the challenge the final model will have to look like a scene that we might see in a Sports Illustrated magazine." Is it just a beauty render or something specific?

Usually just means a beauty render. This is very flexible and can encompass just about anything so have fun.

No, this is the list thread not the reference thread. See how Roberto posted a big long list of cars. I am adding to the list. Is this really something that needs to be worried about. Get back to work!

You start your threat when you have a choice. Don't need to reserve your place

Hi guys

I'm thinking of doing the Deathrace(2008) car that Jason Statham drives, info on the internet says the base car is a ford mustang 2006. I'm having some problems finding some ref's of this car due to so many versions, can anyone who knows cars tell me if this is indeed the 2006 mustang?
http://carblueprints.info/rus/view/...tang-gt-v8-2005

It says 2005 in the link but 2006 on the blueprint- maybe the models are the same?

From the film: http://www.chromjuwelen.com/de/netw...mustang-gt.html

I need some decent ref to get the proportions right before adding armor etc

The 2005 to 2009 mustangs (fifth generation) are pretty much virtually identical in body with some slight variations coming by way of the GT/CS, the bullit, the anniversary edition, and obviously the shelbys. All those special edition are 2007 and later so the 2005 and 2006 are pretty indistinguishable from each other.

That being said, even the special editions I mentioned above all have pretty much the same base so any reference from 2005 to 2009 should suit you well.

Thanks for clearing that up. I already started with the 2005/6 blueprint I posted, good to hear I wont have issues.
