particules along a moving splines
Hi,
I would like to create a particle animation using 3DS max. What I would like to do is animate particles throughout the length of a spline, this spline changes shape with time. I place my emitter at the start of the spline and use a speed by icon so that the particules move along the spline (CF img_01). When the spline is moving, the flow of particles no longer follows the spline. I would therefore like to be able to animate the shape of my spline and have the flow of particles adapt to the spline's movement. following the line of the spline throughout the animation. If someone has a solution it would be great ! Thank you ! |

Thank you for your answer !
But I've found a way by using the spline as the emitter, and animating a white line along it, so the particle follow the white pixels. But your link shows a very interesting way too, I will test it ! Thank you again ! |
