I have a tutorial on my training website regarding "Find Target" and the mParticles (former toolbox#2):
http://incendii.com/training/?p=93

you can use find target if you use a physx switch to have particles obey legacy forces. the physx switch will pretty much override the physx world gravity, etc.

It's pretty straight forward if you have a PayPal account.

Have you tried the physx switch soution? liek make your pflow as you would with out rifig bodies and then add all your physx componends including a physx switch. this will let the particles obey the forces and spin, etc. as without physx. so you get the shape collision and the motion of the vanilla pflow.
