Help with organic levels

And by organic, I'm referring to game levels made of flesh and meat and assorted pulsating organs protruding from every corner.

Hello everyone, I've lurked here since forever but finally caved in and created an account after having difficulty looking for help on this topic. I am doing research on how to create an organic, or "womb level" that works for Unreal3, and so far I am unable to find any info on the process of creating living levels, much less where to start.

This is an example of the kinds of levels I'm referring to:

I don't intend to just throw a bunch of meat textures on random meshes, so if anyone has a better method to come up with some squishy, pulsating grossness, I would really appreciate your help.

So far I've accumulated a decent list of games that feature these sorts of levels, but no info on how they came to be or people that have been involved with them. It would be awesome if someone could point me in the right direction (or person).

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Not sure what kind of guidance you are looking for. Basically you'd model it just like any other level, with the focus being an organic look. The pulsating and squishyness comes from animated geometry, or textures.

Hey thanks for answering. What I am looking for is for any tips and techniques on how to create flesh levels. I'm pretty clear on designing the structure, since I already have enough reference pics. What I'm concerned about is the look, making it look like it's alive and you're wandering around the insides of some gigantic horror.
I also intend to import this level into Unreal 3 and be able to walk around it.
