How to get a uvd model back to Zbrush

I have made a head model. I made a base mesh in maya then added detail in Zbrush. I have exported the lowest sub divison of the model back to Maya to uv it. I am trying to import the model back into Zbrush (version 4r4) with the uvs and the higher sub divisions still in tact. I have tried doing it this way

Export lowest SubD level from ZBrush
Unwrap in software of choice and save
Back in ZBrush at lowest SubD of mesh (that was exported) click 'Morph Target > Store'
Import new UV'd mesh while at lowest SubD level
Click 'Morph Target > Switch'

But it doesn't work. Any help?

zbrush automatically stores a morph target when you reimport an updated base mesh unto 'itself' you will the get the 'the topology of the mesh has changed....' dialogue. click yes and Uvs/changes will be reprojected up the levels automatically. You don't need to switch the morph target.

I don't get this dialogue box appear when I reimport. Think this is because I haven't changed the actual topology just uv mapped the model

I have now been able to do that way. But it still doesn't work the seams don't seem to appear
