Nice paintover Rebecca! I think I point out a few mistakes from that progressive drawing.
I am using a model to do this face and she's got strange porpotions now that I'm looking at her and you showed me this...

Well... very nice model... but of course... not very easy to used as good reference...

Thanks! I hope it helped.

I think what would be helpful in terms of using Reference is if you found alternative Reference that showed maybe a bald woman from a front and side view ~ this would show you the size relationship of the mass of the skull to the facial area. Also, I would find general anatomy reference of the various facial features ~ eyes, lips, nose, chin, ears, etc. ~ since these have many of the same characteristics that don't vary from person to person except in size, shape, etc. As a 3D modeler it's probably good to just keep a lot of bookmarks of Anatomy sites, Reference images, etc. There's lots of good stuff out there, only a Google~click away!
