Excellent work on this portrait. Great to see it become a reality. I bet he'll be so happy. No need to be jealous of his lil bro because he has his own masterpiece now.

Laurent,

A very enjoyable thread so far.

A side issue. I just looked at your new site and wonder if the textures are all new? they all have the same date of entry on them. The reason I ask is that about a year ago I collected many of the textures on your site and would hate to resave them if I already have them.

Thank you for making such an asset available to the community. I have placed a link to you on my site <www.robertellisonimaging.com> in case there are still people out there who haven't heard of you.

It's not a real jalousy... but the baby always claimed more attention (it's a real little monster version)... and of course, I have a little less time to be with him, and to play with him, at 10 years old, he always need a lot of his father... He's very happy I start this portrait.
Don't know if it will be a real masterpiece, I just will try to do somthing which make proud my son

Robert

Hello Robert, and thanks to appreciate my work.
About the textures on my website, there's no new textures since July 2004... or just few on differents sections... I don't remember exactly, and certainly the "FUR" section.
During 1 year, I can't find time to do update on the site, but in Juny 2005, I decided to make a new version, not always finish (always the lack of time), but soon.
As the new site is in PHP, of course, dates are the ones when I upload them in the new site.
I was obliged to change the hosting, becauce now, this site is very heavy... much pictures, and much textures...
For the moment, not new seamless textures are planed... but in few days I hope, I will open a new section of 1600x1200 textures (no seamless), certainly with more of 100 textures... with access only for the registered members.... always free of course.
Thanks for your interest... seeya

Good morning! Thanks to Rebeccas ad I found you here, thanks Becca

Your portrait is coming on fine - and yes, photoreal! I like the dark background - it makes him glow. I'm sure he will love this..

Your son have beautiful eyes - has he inherit them from you?
