Hi Glenn!

Thank you. I appreciate your welcome back. I liked posting here, but the inconvenience of using a hosting site was a, and still kinda is, a deterrent. Not as convenient as ConcetptArt.org.
But, I'll try and keep this thread current.

How do you find this forum, nowadays. Is there a lot of activity in the drawing forums? Is there support input by forum leaders? What do you think. I've been away for a long time, so, i don't really know how the CGTalk forums are these days.

Here are a few more 5 - 10 minute sketches.

Hi Esmeralda

Myself,....I just use this space to store a record of my works and progress, so that everything I do is in one place... If I am remembering corectly,..that is originally what this sketchbook section was put in place and set up for.
As for the interaction between artist,..seasoned, and not so seasoned...which is where the learning takes place...well...it must be taking place elsewhere, because it certanly isn't happening in here...not to the extent that it should or could, or was happening.
Without the workshops..this whole setup is a mere ghostly shadow of what it was and could be, and was originally intended to be...Kind of like a ship without a captain..wandering aimlessly across the open sea so to speak.
When I met and talked with Rebecca here in Boston years ago,.she said that as always,... money would be the downfall of this great and free system of learning that was set up by her in this forum, and as usual, she was correct..
I still think that the idea of keeping everthing in one place was and is a good idea though..if for posterity's sake, if nothing else..One just never knows what lies ahead in this vast ocean of time that we all travel upon.
Glenn
