Not that they are great drawings, but the scanner is crap for sketches...Might start photographing them.

Yes, you'll learn a lot from studying the masters. If you have time you should join the DSF as well. The given theme (pushes you out of the comfy zone) and the time limit (forces you to focus on the essentials and main shapes above details) make it a really good - and very fun - practice

Study masters and life, apply to your own work - two sides of learning that really complement each other.

heres todays sketch took around 2 -3 hours, was good practice even though the eyes are wonky and rendering needs work

Heres some quick artsyposes sketches, my eyes are a little tired as ive been doing other projects today, so I think i might start the master bust drawing but finish the rest tomorrow...

I've started the bust but im gunna take it easy for the rest of the night and finish it up tomorrow. Heres where im up to, blocked in the values, needs tidying up then gunna add key details, found its a lot harder doing these studies on the wacom then it is on paper

tidied it up a little but its taking me far longer than it should and my other work needs starting so gunna leave this one as it is for now. Will practice more quick wacom sketches this evening..

nice job on the gestures have tried just doing the fundamentals it really helps out in the long run
