Have you seen Bammes books? Right now it was printed in Russian, and is the best single book for anatomy in my opinion. "Obraz Cheloveka". I'm sure it's on the net, though I have a paper variant and it's a good book to have.
Anyway, it deals with the structure. First you need to understand how those smaller shapes connect n the skull, "nadbrovniye dugi" for example have a very distinct form. If you ever will be in Kiev, you can visit anatomy classes in academy of arts, which will be very valuable.

Thank you! Right now I decided to do some life drawings and study fundamentals before diving into figures and anatomy. I saw newly published Loomis's book in store but Bammes... hmmm, I definitely go for it
