Sketchbook thread of maozao

Hi guys,

i'm once again inclined to keep a sketchbook, i hope this one doesn't get deactivated as the last one was by lack of posts (link to old sketchbook if anyone's interested)

i'll start posting some oil studies i have done recently, assorted anatomy figurative, from life paintings and pictures of other paintings and pictures of people. (sorry about the poor photography quality, IMO painting tend to look better live)

well hope to post more often and hope to keep improving my skills, thanks for visiting and commenting

Hello Maozao, I looked over your submissions and the paintings are wonderful. I myself haven't done much with painting, ever. So I can't give you any tips. All I can say is well done, keep up the good work!

Hi Gabriel

Nice studies ..I really like the Ribera one posted above..you captured the feeling in that one very nicely...He has always been one of my favorite Old Masters.
Looking forward to seeing more of these great studies of yours.

Glenn
