Smile

Awesome, thanks for sharing, zhuzhu!

It sounds like what is happening is that you do not have enough RAM to run both Painter and Camtasia? If possible, you might want to purchase more RAM so that both programs will run smoothly. I would love to see a video tut too!

Cheers,

~Rebeccak

Nice zhuzhu, thanks for sharing.
It's weird that you can't run Camtasia and Photoshop... cause I can and I only have 512
Maybe it's your Processor... how fast is your Processor?

That last Zorn is gorgeous.

As for your Camtasia issues, is your hard drive thrashing around a lot? If it is, you'll probably need to free up a bunch of RAM. The usual process, start shutting down stuff that you don't absolutely need while painting, freeing up as much RAM as possible. Which version of PS is that? 7.0? I know 7 isn't a big RAM hog, but Camtasia has a recommended RAM requirement of 1GB (though I know people who use it with 512MB with more demanding apps, like Maya).

If you're not getting a lot of HDD thrashing, then it's possible it could be your CPU, as ceresz has suggested. What size are you painting these at when using Camtasia?

Wink

ceresz:maybe my computer is too old,i bought it in 2001,haha, the Processor is Interel Pentium III 731MHz.

LoTekK:thanks,i used Photoshop 7.if both run PS 7 and Camtasia, just feel not smooth when painting use brushes, whatever the file size.maybe i should buy a new computer later.
