From a complete maya noob needing some you excellent expertise...
Hello my dears,
I work for a TV production company, where my role is primarily editorial based, however, I've been asked to convert some maya models into dummy models that must be limited to no more than 69000 polygons (for storyboard software). Can anybody offer me any advice? We usually have free lance modelers in, however, as this is pre-production we're trying to do avoid bringing anybody in,
These are pretty large maya models, so my attempts at simplifying the models by removing less relevant elements, & reducing polygons et al have proved somewhat feckless. Do any of you fantastic people have any suggestions?
