I say go for it! The idea with the challenge is to see how far you can push yourself in a short amount of time, and to FINISH something! Watermarks be damned!

I've got an idea for a trailer, but that doesn't really include the ice (thou, I might think a way to incorporate it). Would that be a problem?
Except Ice, it should have all elements to be called cinematic (considering my limited skills, of course).

Sorry for nitpicking Roberto, but I really think sticking to subject (at least for the beginning) is making this harder, even it's really hard as it is.

You could be pretty loose with the ICE theme - even interpreting it to just be cold, or have a character named ICE.

The theme is really to give a sense of cohesion among the ideas! I cant wait to see what people will come up with! I'm already brainstorming...

ps - Ill be updating 2 threads. One in the WIP section, and then a main one in the FXWars section. The reason is that I think that the WIP sections generally get more exposure and are checked more often. I would suggest that others do the same!

No worries guys, I already think, not only the ice be implemented, but to be main subject in my (try of) cinematic.
However, I still disagree that there should be any subject (at least for first few challenges), but I'll stop right here, we can argue later, because I don't wanna ruin nice atmosphere on this.

So... let's make it Ice-y

I got an idea already. Involves alcohol

Although having specific props (and dialogues?) is a bit overkill for such intense challenge. Anyways good luck to all mad people here

Themes are nice in that they can spark an idea, or at least help to work within a set of boundaries. Limitations make for better art!
