My work with jewellery and 3d-printing

This is my work: a pendant cast in resin and bronze-powder.

I modeled a 3d pendant and printed it, doing a silicone mold and casting the pendants with resin and bronze/tin powder.

The piece has 45mm x 56mm x 3mm.

I've been playing around with my FlashForge Creator 2 for about 1.5 years. Loving all the amazing work everyone has created here.

I'm intrigued by the cold acetone method. I'm going to give that a try tonight.

Here I've just added pink-to-white spackle.

This is a shot of the layers before spackling.

And I couldn't resist building a simple robot.

Nice work everybody. I always joke that my wife is just a collection of shapes, so I printed this for her on our anniversary. Simple, but she was digging it.

Smile 3d Prints

I believe the bug took around 14 hours to print and the large tin man took around 12. Printed them both on the Makerbot's Replicator 2.

Currently I have the Makerbot 2 and it's been a mixed bag of quality/reliability. I'm about to purchase a Zeni Kinetic printer with a huge 12"x12"x18" print area. I'm excited to print much larger figures and start making armor for cosplay clients. Here is one of the pieces I did, painted afterwards with model paints:

Wow! Some fantastic printed models here.

Here's one I used as a test - sculpted in 3dCoat and printed on the Kickstarter-backed, early prototype Buccaneer3d printer in PLA.
Printed in parts then assembled and painted.
