Post ELYSIUM Vancouver Event: Crafting the Future in DI

Hey everyone,
I thought some of you in Vancouver may be interested in an event we're doing in November about our work on Neill Blomkamp's Elysium. As the DI facility on the show, we'll be talking about using the ACES colour workflow for all of the VFX and DI work, as well as how we developed some unique workflows to handle VFX integration on a large scale.

Elysium: Crafting the Future in DI
November 14th, 6:30 to 9:30 @ Vancity Theatre

Check out the Eventbrite page to RSVP and for more information.

For those of us who can't be in Vancouver, and considering that it seems you guys are taking a lot of effort to spread the word about your DI process, is there an article on sites like It's Art Mag, CG Society, Studio Daily, or Cine FX where we can learn about this process?

Or a video where this process was shown in action?

"Your most creative work is pre-production, once the film is in production, demands on time force you to produce rather than create."

For sure! You can find an article about our process on Studiodaily (link), and a more in-depth case study on the colour workflow from FilmLight (PDF). There's also a couple more articles about it on our website.

Thanks for your interest!
