Extract editable objects from a single photo.

-Its already been posted
-The user has to define the camera and camera angle/position
-This tech has been around for a long time and we get videos like this every year
-It's really of limited use if you think about it.

There was one video similar to this one, years ago, that blew my mind, it used the same principles, but managed to use the lights in the scene to cast shadows. It was pretty damn impressive, but nothing ever came from it. I wish i could remember the link, but i'm getting old

There´s a commercial software that can create objects this way, including bumps and displacements.

But I´m getting old, too, and can´t remember the name LOL

I've never seen any software that can make models from a single photograph, but there's plenty that do it from multiple photos.

This one just works off the assumption that the object is square or round, which means it'd only be useful in a handful of situations. Still interesting though

Still searching for something that works off-line for faces. That has a lot of uses...

There was some software for Avatars but it's all either pretty basic or poorly implemented.
