I will say that that part of the movie was phenomenal. Being in a chase view on the big screen really gives you a sense of flying. Reminded me of the opening to Toy Story 2 when Buzz is zooming through the canyon.

ASnd to be fair, this movie was NOT made by Pixar.

This was made at Prana Studios in India. By the same studio that bought Rhythm & Hues a few months ago.

Finally got to watch it on the big screen out here and it looks fantastic!

Why not? For anyone running a business, beating the competition - why isn't that outcome good enough an achievement? Of course, there are other loftier goals too but opening to a good BO is also an important one for most people.

Cars 2 was awful.
Brave - I enjoyed it but my two daughters absolutely loved it. One for the girls I think.
Monsters U - WWWWHAT?!!! This was an excellent film!! In my top 3 this year that's for sure.

What!?

This was made at Prana Studios in India, not Disney animation?

Sorry maybe I don't get out enough, but that's amazing to me for some reason.

Man things change fast, I love it.

I saw it today, it was painfully awful. My only thought afterwards is that we'll never see another Ratatouille now.

Disney Toon Studios outsources to Prana Studios in India. Planes was supposed to go directly to video like the Tinker Bell movies which are all done at Prana. Even the Mickey Mouse tv series Disney's House of Mouse for young children was done at Prana. Prana also did work on Tron Legacy.

Ah, good for them. This was the first I'd heard the name Disneytoon but it sounds like they've been operating for a while.
