That was good, thanks for posting.

So many of James Cameron's films (including The Abyss) were milestones in computer graphics. I read a book called "The Futurist: The Life and Films of James Cameron" that went through his life from his amateur work and starting on Howard Corman films up to all his famous movies like Terminator II, Titantic, and Avatar. It sounds from the book like he was pretty critical and demanding to work for in his earlier years, but learned to be nicer later on.

He's still every bit as critical and demanding, he's just nice inbetween all that..haha. There's just this ferocious intelligence behind it all, those gears are always turning. Fascinating guy.

Was looking up stuff on Escape from New York recently and they have pics of him doing matte paintings under Roger Corman's group, and also working with the Skotaks, who he would have a long relationship with.

Always pushing forward and doing more, I think at this point the filmmaking is becoming a hobby to fund his submarine/exploration work.
