Thanks for the link to the trailer. 300 has been crying out for a follow up, and this one looks great.

Blood and Bloom... (they couldn't put flares, because it's not the future, so they put vaseline on the ancient greek lenses)

surly they are doing a small part of the whole. Last time around many smaller houses were in the loop, such as http://www.screamingdeathmonkey.com/

3 things:

- Trailer looks pretty good

- When on earth did Snyder find time to do this?

- Eva Green has such an AWESOME "bad ass" face...

He didn't. Noam Murro is the director. They are using Zach Snyder's name for promotion. I doubt he had much to do with the film outside of pre-production.

It was pulled out from R&H as they went into bankruptcy. MPC is doing a lot to my knowledge.

Snyder was only a producer on it until recently as well, he took over on it.

Sounds like a project that seemed good at the pre-production but as the production went on they began to see that this wasn't turning out like they hoped it would.

Can't say the trailer really lit up my interest like the original 300 did, this just looks like one long battle of pretty boredom.

They're really still going to do the ridiculous bare chested thing?

In the first 300, I sincerely wanted the Persians to win simply because their character design was WAY more interesting and inspired while the Spartans were pretty much all cape and that's it.

The only reason the bare-chested Spartans won was because they were wearing an enormous amount of plot armor.

He supposedly wrote and produced it.

This looks like a real sequel. I had always heard it was going to be some kind of prequel focusing on the Persian emperor's rise to power. Still, looks cool enough to me. Well, at least it looks the same, and as long as it fits as a good follow up that should be good.
