2d showcase gallery standards

More 2d art questions
A little while ago I noticed that the standards of what was acceptable had gone up. The reason I know this is because at the same time the amount of posts in wips had gone up. I would see a lot of posts titled "Rejected how can I improve this".

I thought this was great idea that raises the credibility of the site!
(I know.. it's already up there)
Plus I think it gives the place more curb appeal.

Now it seems to have lost that and I'm not sure why? I understand that it pisses people off when rejected and they won't join but still…..

Sorry if this has been discussed already, no need to beat a dead horse.

Here, it's been discussed not long ago.
To sum it all up, a system is in the works and mods are really tired of people whining over a gallery.
