It's something that really bothers me. The OP here has not been back to this site since posting this thread, which was now a couple of days ago.

I lurk around the general forum on a daily basis (I don't post much, so I guess you haven't seen me around a lot), and I find those users very rude and annoying. I've seen a lot of those threads, and ironically, they usually get a LOT of answers. I was going to say that such threads should be deleted, but then, there's pretty good information in quite a few of them.

Oh I think I misunderstood you. I thought you were calling my post rude.

No, I was agreeing with you. I guess I worded my answer badly.

Haha nah, it's just a tad ambiguous. I do hope this guy comes back and proves me wrong though. Last week I wasted my time on some guy who has been coming back to the site but hasn't bothered to thank any of the people who took the time to post advice. It's unbelievably rude.

Well I wouldn't let it bother you, we take the time to give genuine assitance and thougths regardless of what the original poster does afterward. I figure anything we share and discuss on here helps more than just the original since topics overlap, every thread you see far more viewing than posting so more people are getting insight.
