Anyone who is a 3D artist for a company...

Does anybody here who actually works for a company as a 3D artist happen NOT to have traditional drawing skills? How important are drawing skills when it comes to getting a job as a 3D artist? What's the chance of someone who is good at computers but not so much at traditional art make it in the game industry? In which area does someone who don't have drawing skills have more chance working for: games, architecture, medical, or army simulation area?

Is this the 387377th thread about this in the last year? Honestly this topic has been done to death. Please just do a search and read all the other discussions about it.
