If you intersect the curves for the life expectancy forecasts, medical progress, and cybernetic progress, you do, especially if you're a well off female in your early thirties or younger, stand a slim but not insignificant chance to make it to a time when your cybernetic life expectancy could push in the high 200s.

Unless we get nuked off the planet before then, at that point you can also hope to make it in time to become a cyberconscience, at which point your digital presence (Facebook and so on) might become a rather prominent part of... well, you

It's extremely optimistic, but not necessarily a 100% certainity

I'm personally looking forward to becoming an android!

There are a lot of advances in brain research lately. There also a lot of reason why governments everywhere willing to spent billions on brain research now. I think they are on the news recently about billions on brain mapping.

And of course, this will lead to more advances in singularity. Maybe someone can finally live online / in the matrix.
