realflow grid fluid displacement issue

hi everyone, i am testing with realflow hybrido simulation. But i don't really understand it's use in a huge ocean scene.

Say, i want to create a simple scene where a ship is moving on a vast ocean surface. So, what can i do is to create a simulation spot with domain, emitter, splash, mist and foam. after that i simulate the ship inside it. then i create mesh from that fluid simulation. But when i create the displacement map it gives me a tileable water surface map. why i create this map like this when i can create it more conveniently from realwave or with maya ocean shader?

if i want to create the scene in my 3d program maya, what do i do? I can create the ocean surface with the displacement map but how to use that grid mesh that can give me actual deformation where the ship collided.

plz help me. it's driving me nuts. recently i have came across this
It explains many things but i am still confused. thanx in advance.
