The bad lip-sync/facial, starched beard, 3-point landings, awkward slow motion ramps as if I'm watching a broken codec video, hood-on-a-hinge, etc. Besides that, pretty good!

Feels like digic all over again.

Personally I don't like this solo-Rambo mentality as much as the run-away-and-hide for Assasin Creed... I'd leave that role for Kratos.

How to recognize DIGIC's work: fucked up hair shaders and dynamics surrounded by awesome stuff.
The pirate's face is awesome besides the lip-sync issue.

To me it feels like these projects are getting rushed.

I thought his face looked a bit stiff and had limited range of expression. I mean his upper face hardly changed at all throughout the whole thing, the serious brow was identical from start to finish.
Apart from that, I found the rest of the videl impressive.

I feel so, too. But Ubi announced some time ago that AC will get the CoD treatment.
I skipped AC2 but this one looks interesting to me, what with Pirates and stuff

By far it is a more interesting title than ACIII where I found pirate ship missions were more fun than storyline missions.

My AC3 has been left mostly unplayed after a couple hours, I found it just well boring. I miss gameplay like the original that pulled me in.

I loved this trailer. The stiff lip thing actually didn't bother me, as it looked intentional - there was a pirate in the Pirates of the Caribbean films who spoke the same way, keeping his teeth bared the whole time.

Sweet, new Digic stuff! I really can't see any of the crits on this, it seems a step up from the last Assassin's Creed trailer. And I mean, come on, pirates? Awesome.

Now this looks more interesting than AC3. I didn't even think of an assassins creed pirate setting. Swinging from masts, doing that super unrealistic but awesome thing where you use a sword to slow your descent down a sail...plank walking!

I didn't actually bother with AC3. This one however is a must buy for me!

Next time...feudal Japan please, and maybe a female protagonist?
