Question about online tutorials

Hi there,
I'm curious to know - has anyone ever paid for online tutorials for Adobe Applications?
If you have, would you recommend it? If no, why not?

I never have had to because there are loads and loads of resources online though I suppose it depends what program you are trying to use and what you want to accomplish.

I have used digital-tutors and for adobe products ranging from photoshop to flash builder, etc... and would recommend them. has pretty good starter stuff while digital-tutors had nice specific techniques and such.

to me, this was far more valuable in the long run and saved a lot of time from filtering all the crap on the web that's free... and sometimes just bad.

With Youtube, dozens of free tutorial sites and even some Adobe own free tuts on their site i don't think it's needed to pay for the technical "how-to" knowledge part.

But besides those there are some fine workshops and tutorials from artists who explain not only their techniques but also their workflow and experience, which i think its very valuable and wort h the investment (obviously depending on the program and area of interest ).
