Report: Warner Bros. Interactive Interested in Bidding on THQs Assets

Quote:
"
The word comes from Distressed Debt Investing, a blog managed by an investor who evidently was in Friday's hearing on THQ's bankruptcy. On his Twitter feed, he said "Lawyers for Warner Brothers states they have team ready to complete due diligence if more time is allowed." Other buyers are interested in some of THQ's assets, and some also are interested in purchasing it whole, Distressed Debt Investing said.

I really liked Saint Rows the Third, it's too bad they didn't develop more original IP, relying too heavily in licensing deals and that misguided "uDraw" gaming tablet just broke the companies back. It's unfortunate that asset sales is the only way forward - the lawsuits related to the "uDraw"looked way to big to overcome. :(

Smells of a possible collusion between executive management and Clearlake at THQ...
Which is now scuppered and probably going to be finished off by Warner.

In which case, the words we are looking for are: "A Comedy of Errors".
